Synchrologic Names John Dancu as President and Chief Operating Officer
Seasoned executive manager adds firepower to lead the company's growth in enterprise mobile and wireless computingATLANTA (June 26, 2000) - Synchrologic, Inc. (synchrologic.com), the leader in mobile and wireless infrastructure software for the enterprise, has named John Dancu as its new President and Chief Operating Officer. In addition, Dancu will join Synchrologic's Board of Directors.
Dancu brings a wealth of experience in operations, financial management and business development to Synchrologic. Prior to joining Synchrologic, Dancu was President and COO of Netzip, Inc. from July 1999 to January 2000. Netzip, a leading provider of download management software for the Internet, was acquired by RealNetworks, Inc. in January 2000. From 1995 to June 1999, Dancu served as COO and CFO of K&G Men's Center Inc., a retail superstore for men's clothing. During his five years there, Dancu led the company to extraordinary growth, oversaw the company's initial public offering, and helped manage K&G's merger with The Men's Wearhouse. From 1986 to 1995, Dancu was an Investment Banker at The Robinson-Humphrey Company, Inc., where he completed mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements and other financial advisory services
