FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Synchrologic 'Pushes' New Release of Synchrologic Mobile Suite

Offers Broadest Device Support to Enable 'Always There' Data for a Mobile & Wireless Workforce

ATLANTA, Dec 16, 2003 - Industry surveys show that among CIO's top 5 issues are managing and securing the different device types that appear in their organizations every day. In addition to the benefit these devices bring to companies, it can be difficult to support all device types, provide ubiquitous access to corporate data without user intervention, and eliminate the security risk when devices become populated with corporate data.

To help companies solve these issues, Synchrologic today announces the general availability of Synchrologic Mobile Suite 5.4. Synchrologic's latest release raises the bar of mobile computing by offering the industry's broadest device support to push corporate data to mobile workers including email, calendar and other PIM data, files, and corporate application data. While enabling 'Always There' data on any device over any network, Synchrologic Mobile Suite also provides IT with the robust tools to remotely manage and secure the data and devices.

"We wanted an infrastructure suitable for syncing all types of data, not just email, and all types of devices including PDAs and laptops. But, we also have a complex environment of both Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino and we needed a solution to accommodate both," said Yannick Flegeau, IT architect for Crédit Agricole Bank. "Now our executives and VIPs get their email automatically delivered to their devices over our WiFi network without having to use the VPN. And, Synchrologic provided my team with systems management that is seamless to users. We have the best of both worlds."

Synchrologic Mobile Suite 5.4 offers Push Mobile™, a patent-pending technology which uses the IP-based network connectivity of WiFi, WAN, or LAN networks to deliver "Always There" data across all networks and devices types. This new method for pushing mission-critical information to mobile workers allows them to do business anywhere with confidence and guarantees that any corporate data - from important email to files to application updates - will be automatically delivered to mobile workers when needed. Push Mobile is available for the gamut of wireless devices including laptops and tablets as well as the newest handheld devices such as Handspring's Treo 600 (with 5-way navigation support), Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC, and Symbian 7 devices including the Sony Ericsson P800 and P900.

"It is clear that mobile devices are quickly proliferating and increasingly diversifying, making mobile device selection a personal user choice," said Bill Jones, vice president of products for Synchrologic. "Corporate IT needs to insulate their organizations from the support issues this may cause. Synchrologic Mobile Suite with Push Mobile technology offers corporations the enterprise quality security, information delivery options, connectivity options, and broad device support for the most popular devices that their users want - and demand - to carry."

Synchrologic Mobile Suite

Synchrologic Mobile Suite extends the existing corporate infrastructure to mobile and remote staff, delivering access to enterprise applications, files, Email and PIM data, Intranet sites, and Web content. It also provides valuable tools for remotely managing mobile devices. It is compatible with a wide range of mobile devices, including laptop and tablet PCs, Pocket PC, Palm, and Symbian OS devices as well as backend data bases including Exchange, Domino, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, and SQL server.
